I am not an early bird or a night owl......
.......I am some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.
:biggrin2: I was told today that I am one of these...

That was embarrassing! It's been so long since posting here properly that I had to mouse-over every single icon up there to remember where the 'link' button was. I've even forgotten half of the coding for smilies!

When the temp is cool enough to mow, the grass is always wet!
Not (at all!!) bringing politics to Chattery Teeth, but I read "temp" as "Trump" in your sentence. :biggrin2:

Maybe the full moon explains all the animals acting crazy...

The cat didn't want to come in last night, so I put her food dish outside. A couple hours later, we hear a clatter on the deck. It was a raccoon and her 3 babies eating the cat food that was left in the dish (the noise was the 'coons knocking the bowl over).

This morning I took the kiddo outside to wait for his bus that takes him to camp. A bear in the driveway. Not a huge one, but not a baby either. It wasn't afraid of the bus...until it heard the kiddo screaming at the driver (not about the bear, he just yells all the time. My kiddo will sh!t his pants over a Chihuahua, but doesn't blink an eye over a black bear). Bear took off.

A little while later, I saw all these bucks down at the high school track. We see deer every single day, but rarely bucks and almost never more than one buck at a time.

I am in love with my new boots. I'm wearing them in 95-degree weather.

Are your summer clothes a little tight? Here's how I cope:

Holly G's "That's Good to Know Diet":

Breakfast: boiled egg & coffee (lots!)
Lunch: Kale Salad and Rotisserie Chicken for lunch every day. Enough to not be hangry. Make your own vinagrette but no sugar in it.
Dinner: tuna no mayo, green beans (simmered an hour in pork fat)

Do this for 1 week.
Notice clothes all lose again, loser even than last summer.
Say to self: that's good to know.

Proceed to eat cake balls and ice cream until clothes are tight again.

Repeat!
