(((Deb)))

I was just getting ready for bed and I came back in to the lounge to shut my laptop down and my "Jake" kitty was sitting on the keyboard.
He's just created a bookmark for a page called: "TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTARGH F" :biggrin2:
(This was his way of saying: "your sofa time is over, I want to go to f'king sleep.")

Best kind of bookmark. :D

We finished FRINGE last night--what a good show! It started out sort of like X-Files-lite, but it got increasingly complex and interesting as it went along. I think the last season was the best, but they were all good. VERY glad we watched! Thinking of starting HAVEN next--thoughts?

I hated Haven but, then again, I haven't seen Fringe. I definitely want to watch it. My disdain for Haven grew as it never developed any significant connection to the Stephen King universe. I didn't watch further than season one, though. Maybe you can get a more informed opinion from a member that's seen both Fringe and Haven.

i also hated haven. i thought the stories were weak, and the whole series reminded me of Kolchak the night Stalker stuff (which I loved because I was a kid and I have those fond kid memories.) But Haven was just boring. Not saying an episode or two got interesting, but overall, meh.

Thank you! I respect the opinions of you both. Might have to look for another show The Man and I can watch together--thanks!

I only made it through season one. Just didn't catch my interest.

I'll never understand the knee-jerk hatred and disdain for Kanye West. He's smart and interesting. Maybe a little full of himself sometimes, but who isn't when they're young and rich?

Well, Kayne and Jerk certainly belong in the same sentence. I'll tell you this, if one of my bands were ever lucky enough to win a VMA or Grammy, and Kayne tried one of his on stage hijacks while we were excepting the award, I would punch him dead in the face. On air. In front of everyone.

Just sayin'......

I don't hate him. I probably couldn't name but one of his songs, but from the handful of times I've seen him on tv he seems like a total narcissist. Other times, in interviews, he can be childlike and almost timid. When I see him pulling stunts like he did with Taylor Swift I just change the channel. He could be the best father and husband in the world for all I know. These are just my observations, although not knee-jerk I don't think. Dispassionate and disinterested, I'd say.

Now see, Miss Joy Killer here, I'm always afraid they are sucking this stuff down in their lungs, getting it in their eyes, up their noses. I know they are having fun, but the mom comes out in me for how safe it is for their health.:O_O::Oo:
