ha. He justs goes: :facepalm_smiley: All the folks at break know. It's out. He told. Everyone howled.
He even imitated my voice. "It's a lovely day". Then. "I love you, Dave."

Clipboard lady is busy writing me up about some ice trouble I got myself into.
Oh no! You dropped ice on the floor, didn't you? It's a hazard, you know. Or was it your week to fill the ice trays? Are they that retro? Maybe you should smoke at work? They did back then. I like to think of your workplace as a Twilight Zone episode.

So the politics thread was back open, now it's closed again? Yeesh, are people still being that nasty about the whole mess? It doesn't really bother me, tell ya true--if it were up to me that particular group of threads could stay closed for all I care. I don't like seeing all my SKMB buddies arguing back and forth like that, and if I ever add to the convo it's just to toss in a random silly comment to lighten the mood. Its like that rule we use around my neck o' the woods at drunken gatherings: no religion, no politics. Of course, we usually wind up breaking that rule after a few snootfuls, but we try keeping it civil.

Here on the SKMB, as in real life, I have friends on both sides of the fence. Unless they're fanatical psychos about it, I don't hold someone's political beliefs against them. People should be able to discuss such things intelligently and politely, like they did in the good old days. It just blows my mind how passionately divided we've become in this dark new age.

When I am pharaoh I'll put a stop to all this. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Marsha opens it up during the day when she is here. And closes it down at night and weekends. But, that's just for now. It will be up and running full time again soon.

I blocked myself from those threads--lol. Real life can be nasty enough without bad feelings about my Tet family. This is where I come to escape and have a laugh or a bit of thoughtful conversation about books/movies/music.

....our miniature Yorkie thinks she's full blooded Doberman...
True stuff. Louie full on tried to challenge a Great Dane to a fight the other day. He'd be just about a mouthful for that monster--lol. Thinks he's a badass, though, and Lulu is a delicate lady dog. My in-laws are terrified of her and it makes me laugh--she's the most gentle dog I've ever known.

I'll just take it over to Random Thoughts. Better place. Not sully Wherefore Art Thou.

So little kids - they love to please their mom. They're great like that. And they love to make mom laugh. Silly little kids. So they'd go "Hey mom - I ate all my asparagus!" "You did not! I don't believe you! Prove it" "Smell my pee - it's still in the toilet!!" Little kid dies laughing. I have to go to the bathroom and take whiff. "WooHoo! That's a great asparagus pee! You sure did eat all of your asparagus! Two cupcakes for you, dude!!"

It was mostly my little boy who did this. It cracked him up every time. Now he's a surly 15 year old. Ga! He was so cute teasing me like that. I miss that lil fella.
