I almost drank a spider once. It was a hot day, I came home from an errand and headed for the sink to get a drink of our tasty water. I grabbed the cup I kept by the sink -- a dark blue 24-oz tumbler --, ran some cold water into it, closed my eyes and brought it to my mouth. I felt a tickle on my nose, opened my eyes to see a pretty large, hairy spider staring at me. I dropped the cup into the sink and the spider fell out. I can't remember whether I put it out in the sunroom (they keep the flies down) or ran the sucker down my drain. In any case, I never go to take a drink with my eyes closed anymore!

That's it. I'm going back to caffeine.....Yesterday, I was charging my client $125 for her hair coloring service, and when I slid her card through the square, one of my fingers must have accidentally touched an extra few numbers, because the sale went through as $1,250.09. I immediately caught it and voided the sale, but it caused her card to be tagged as fraud because it wouldn't let me run the correct amount. She had to call her card's customer service and explain what had happened. I apologized for the inconvenience, and my client was very understanding......but I still felt like an idiot.
On the positive side, Capital One has awesome fraud protection, if anyone is interested!

I was half-joking....you rule CAT!! If I got on the treadmill and put music on to run by it would have to be something slow......or something by that purple dinosaur.....
I can't run. ;-D I just do a pre-set thing, that way it does all the speed and incline adjustments automatically. I have been pushing the speed up to a really fast walk, about as fast as I can go without having to jog or run.

It is helping. S.L.O.W.L.Y. I think I am down about 13 lbs. If I can believe my cheap scale. Scott got the ok to use it again, and has already lost 20 lbs in the last 3 wks! He does run, though.

Having no metabolism sucks the big one.:thumbs_down::thumbs_down:

If for no other reason than to embarrass our children! I try to do it whenever I have the opportunity. ;-D I do draw the line at twerking but IMO that is NOT dancing and I can't do it even though I confess I tried once just to see if I could.
I tried at Ghost Brothers. I just have nothing to get rockin'. I looked like a little stiff jackhammer convulsing.
