So......two weeks ago, one of my co workers asks me if I'd be interested in opening a salon in the near future. She mentions two other co workers that she'd like to invite as well. I didn't think much about it at the time, but told her if I did anything like that, I'd want at least a year to plan it.....I like to have my ducks in a row that way.
Last week, at separate times, and without any knowledge of the other's interest both co workers that she mentioned asked me the same question.....one of the girls (we've worked together before) even mentioned that the only location that I've ever talked about for the last 20 years is available.
Now, I'm confused.....is this a sign? I don't know. While I'm not unhappy where I'm at, there are benefits of owning my own business, not the least of which is potentially semi-retiring in the future, and still earning a living from booth rental income.
This has gone beyond KAincidence. Approach of known possible workers, a desired location, stored equipment. You have been planning subconsciously to fulfill a dream of your own salon. Take time, figure out the pros and cons. Maybe even consult a financial adviser. It sound like a dream come true. Believe in guidance from Ka.

Yeah, it sure seems to be pointing me in that direction. I've owned a salon before, and loved it.....then my ex made me close it to work in his business. I never got rid of my equipment, though. Something in my heart wouldn't let me.
I'm thinking that many secret taco Tuesday meetings will be happening in the next several months.
...and the crazy thing about that property I want is that it has been rented out on short terms since I first noticed it in the late 90s, but nothing long term has ever happened there. It's almost like the place has been waiting for me.

I mwntioned in anothet thread that my kid brother had said I was snake bit- snake·bit. adjective. The definition of snakebit is someone who has been characterized by bad luck or subject to a series of misfortunes. When someone suffers a series of tragedies and losses all at once, this is an example of a person who might be described as snakebit.

My laptop got wonky>Geek Squad to de-virus and fix corrupted files. Drop off on Friday and ready for pick-up Monday. Not ready for pick-up Monday-getting tools from Microsoft to run diagonistics , will be ready Wednesday. Not ready Wednesday. The hard drive is irreparable. Buy a new laptop Wednesday. This one has a touchpad and touch screen. Sunday afternoon the toouch pad is not working. Chat with Geek squad-sounds like hard drive bring it in. Monday afternoon at Geek Squad-Nope. Bad computer. We'll exchange it for a brand spanking new one. Okay, you'll have to help me set it up. The laptops are all in the back, wait. 25 minutes later. The young woman opens it up. Opens the laptop and blinks. She takes it to another Geek and he looks at the screen and says, "excellent". She comes over to me , "Um...this one doesn't have an operating system." Blink. They sent it out without an OS. Blink. Yes, I guess I will try a third laptop. An hour later, my laptop is all set up, virus protection installed, repack the entire kit and caboodle. Getting home takes a little over 40 minutes due to the traffic in the area. Get out of work clothes and into grubbies. Have supper on a tray and I get my laptop out to surf the web!!!! Yay!!!!!

Nay!!!!! There was only half of the power cord in the box. (Theres a part that connects to the laptop and connects to a length that has the electric plug for the outlet. like this sort of

I got the length to the left of the image.)

Tears of frustration rolled down my cheeks as I put away my untouched supper and went to bed.

Snake bit, I tell you. :(

(My nephew/God son drove over and gave me a powercord I could use .)
