The trigger was an obsessive burst of reading. The books themselves were not the substance of abuse but merely a segue to the addiction. Without thought he simply googled "Stephen King fourm." Registering was eerily simple and doing so pulled him in like a young child being lead into a candy store by his mother on a beautiful summer day.........
But, you didn't answer my question....
The answer is no.
I listen more than talk. I remember talking to her a while back. I would love to talk more but there is not enough time to talk anymore. The reality shows of housewives and home designers howl and flicker incessantly through the night. I alternate reading and checking message board with ear plugs.

Sad but all is not lost. There is hope. Severe storms that provide power outages provide opportunity to talk.
It is sad though. Years ago we used to talk and have diner together as a family. Family members came over and we talked. We would play pinochle and laugh and take bike rides and long walks. We listened to news ball games on the radio and discussed. Things back then were simpler and less confused as Jim Morrison once said.
Now we seek out attention on message boards and are slaves to social media. We "talk" to others we don't know and spew out clever remarks and flirt. We are hidden and have time to think before we type. We can be who we think we are. Will someone notice? Is there someone behind the Avatar? Are they real?

I don't even have a response to that..I'm sorry you are going through this.
To be fair, I really like Facebook. It allows me to keep in touch with people I'd rather not see in real life. 
Moderators...Please ban me from the site/forum. I am sleepless, going blind, haven't been fishing and will be unemployed if I continue. Also, my wife want to know who I am having an affair with on that damn computer!! I have SKMB on my ipad, iphone, laptop and desktop.
