No need to. I appreciate your friendship with Pat and your willingness to stick up for him when you feel you need to. That's what friends do. But, in this case you don't need to worry. There was not one ounce of disrespect in our playful exchange. We just want Pat to smile again.

This is what I got from Lloyd Pretty...my cousin who owns an art gallery and did paintings for President Ford and Bill Crosby..
It looks old, maybe South American but I cannot tell, for sure, unless I held it in my hands. He said to take it to an expert. Any art gallery may know if it was done recently because of the tools used, etc.
Best I can do with just a picture, Marsha.

....hope everyone gets to see this, and Flake?-maybe you could bump this to the top?...I didn't want to start a separate Thread, since those of us who know & love Patrick are aware of the recent loss of his Mama and subsequent struggles to stay afloat...he and Spidey and I, have been exchanging e-mails and texts and he last night asked me to share this with you...he has landed on his feet, though everyday remains a struggle...he has a place to live, "rustic" though it is and I thank whatever power is out there for keeping him alive and with us. It's still a rough and tumble existence, but things aren't QUITE as dire as they were...he asked that I pass along a couple of photos, and will send me more when he can...

IMG_0416.JPG ....but his view certainly makes up for the rough edges!!!....

We love us our Patrick, yes? So lovely to see and hear about this.... thank you (so much) to Spidey and to you Scott for keeping him in touch with us.

I happen to love the rustic look....with a little effort, that place will be fabulous, and just look at that view!!! I'm so happy that things are looking up for our Patrick. ♥
