requirement fulfillment

I am fulfilling this newbie requirement. I am familiar mostly with it all but have since lost all information pertaining to my old account back from 2003. Geeze that was over 10 years ago (hyperventilate a little mentally) cough cough. Anyway... my name is Ann. I love Stephen King's writing and the places it takes me. I could not get into Insomnia, however, I will give it another go since it just could be that when I first read it my puny brain just wasn't prepared for the journey. If I find I still cannot get into it, then I will chuck it aside and enjoy the numerous others. Right now I am finishing up Doctor Sleep. One thing that jumped out at me although I do not know why, was his use of the name Frederika Bimmel... I think she was one of Buffalo Bill's victim's in Silence of the Lambs...the one that gets the case cracked. Anyway... I am looking forward again to this forum since I enjoyed it so much before. I hope now I can freely roam the forum Thanks for reading my stuff, enjoy your books

I have the same problem with 11/22/63. Normally I would have no problem diving right in, but I just ended my FOURTH attempt at it. I haven't cracked the first 100 pages yet. I will get into it one day, but I am moving on to The Eyes of the Dragon tonight. Insomnia is staring me down from it's spot on the shelf, but it has to wait it's turn. And you are right on about the name Fredricka Bimmel! Silence of the Lambs is one of my faves.
