In case anyone is interested, Publishers Weekly states that, as of May 31, the trade paperback of Revival has moved over 46,000 copies. It is number five on the latest trade paperback sales chart. Not sure it will reach 100,000 copies, though, as the sales for the latest weekly period were only about 9,000 units.
I usually buy hardcovers, so I haven't really noticed how long this has been going on (maybe it's always been the status quo), but wasn't the usual publishing strategy to go from hardcover to mass market paperback?
