Casey Kasem's remains flown to Canada - CNN.com
I know both sides have their own story and I don't really know what's going on here but I can relate some to what the daughter is saying. When my grandmother died, my grandfather remarried and moved to another state. The lady he married seemed ok at first but as time went on, she started shutting everyone of us out. It was methodical and in retrospect seemed completely planned out (why, I don't know). My mother and Aunt were barley allowed to speak to him. It was very puzzling because my mother and Aunt had no agenda other than to see him and speak to him. She changed phone numbers and whatever else she could do to cut off any contact. It was so bad that when my grandfather died, his wife never even told my mother and Aunt. They didn't find out until well after he was gone. It was a bizarre situation that no one understood. It really hurt my mom because there was no reasonable explanation why she was so completely shut out (and why my grandfather would have allowed it - he and my mom were always close until he remarried).
