Classic villain best known for playing Jaws in the James Bond movies died Wednesday at 74. Also had a great role in the original The Longest Yard.

...I'm glad you put this up my friend...was just getting ready too....this man dwarfed me, at 7 foot 2 he was an imposing ferocious bad guy, but in truth-he was a very gentle man...rest easy large one...

Well, there goes another bit of my childhood. Scared me half to death the first time I saw him as (the other) Jaws.

I remember first seeing him in the "To Serve Man" episode of "The Twilight Zone" as a big creepy alien. The guy was known for his huge physique, but he was also very expressive, and could be menacing without saying a word. A unique man and actor.
That's right, I totally forgot about that role! Thank you.
RIP. Moonraker was one of my first Bond films, love it to this day.
