Here's some rock news relating to Rick Springfield. Do you know who originally wrote and released one of his biggest hits??

The song I'm referring to is "I've Done Everything For You".

The original artist and songwriter was.....Sammy Hagar!

He's said that he made enough in royalties from that song alone to never have to work again. That and being in Van Halen. And selling his Tequila company to Sky Vodka for a bazillion dollars!

Eddie Van Halen's birthday was yesterday. Sammy Hagar tweeted him Happy Birthday and wished him well. Eddie actually responded with a Thank You and similar well wishes. That's progress considering they haven't spoken in like 13 years.....

That was from over the summer. Crazy Eddie was trying to claim Michael Anthony didn't do any background vocals and that he had to be shown what to play on bass. Sometimes Ed just can't get his head out of his a**!
