Sadly, Dave just hurts my ears now :(
I understand. We saw them on the Tattoo tour, and I thought very much the same thing.
When we saw them last fall though, I thought he sounded much better.....the entire vibe from everyone in the band was better.

Our seating might have had something to do with it, though. We were on the third row, and at one point when Dave got a little long winded talking about fireflies in Asheville, my BF started yelling "In A Simple Rhyme".....Ed heard him, and cracked up......and after their short break, they played the song. While I was dancing to Dance The Night Away, Dave came over and pointed at me and danced and made googly eyes at me. I always enjoy when a band interacts with the audience.

Finally got around to posting my Record Store Day swag!

We've got some Thelonius Monk, Hendrix, John Carpenter, and Tom Petty on limited edition vinyl!

Tasty tunes! Electric Ladyland on the swirly vinyl is my favorite :listening_headphones:

I also picked up a colored vinyl reissue of the soundtrack to The Return of the Living Dead. It's pretty rad. I'll post a pic of that later.

I think I'll be visiting the record store tomorrow to pick up a copy of Paul Gilbert's new album, I Can Destroy \w/

It wasn't really that bad.
Have you ever read The Dirt?......it's about all the members of Motley Crue....
They're all pretty much a@@hats. At least Niikki is honest.

True, the whole band are not great examples of humanity (Hello Vince Neil). However, personally I think it's a crappy way to treat people who were basically your brothers for 30+ years. Just my humble SwiftDog opinion.

But it's not just Sixx......they're all treating each other the same way. They've grown apart, it was bound to happen.
I was really disappointed with Tommy Lee during the final tour because he refused to participate in any of the fan meet and greet functions......I also thought it was crappy for the others to charge such a high dollar amount for said activities. They always said how much they love their fans.

Hope you had your cooties shot! That close to those dirty dogs your bound to come away with fleas.
That's funny. When we were talking about tickets, we were joking (kinda) that closer than 10 feet might be dangerous to our health. So when my BF bought the tickets, he called and said "We have tix.....you might want to get a penicillin shot.....happy birthday."
