Those pics are gorgeous! :)

Most places you're right about a few seeds not being a big deal. Where you live the seasons help contain that, as well as the more arid climate. But when you cut something like that loose in the deep South where it's warm and wet most of the time, the stuff spreads FAST. The kudzu problem down here is a great example of how quickly an invasive species can take over.

That site I linked gives you a PDF for each state and what things are most beneficial to pollinators. It's a great site.

That's a great link, thanks Hoss!

I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly but I think Arizonia used to be a great place to move to if you had allergies. And then, the people with allergies who moved there brought plants with them and ruined it.
Doc Holliday went 'cuz of his tuberculosis! And he'll be a daisy if ya don't believe it! :)

I looked at some pics of kudzu... it's scary! The only scarier vine I can think of is the honeysuckle vine I had growing on my chain link fence lol

Every time I see the word "kudzu" I hear Foghorn Leghorn saying it stressing the first syllable "KUD-zu". "I said, I say KUD-zu boy!" Lol

That was interesting! :) I am now officially fascinated by kudzu lol. About a third of our property is wooded and one of the dead trees is covered with some kind of vine. I saved a screenie of the kudzu leaves so I can see if the vine is kudzu. Goats and cows love kudzu and kudzu is very nutritious. Some people rent their goats to people wanting to get rid of their kudzu. Did you hear that Dana Jean ? You could move to the South and go into a goat renting business :)
