And I've talked to him privately so do have a little inside information about what his schedule looks like regardless of what he HOPES will happen. I'm not saying it unequivocally won't but I'd be extremely surprised if it did. And as I reminded folks, he said this same thing much more than two years ago that they hoped to write it in the next two years. Just don't get your hopes up.

I'd rather Stephen writes this whenever the hell he wants to rather than thinking he 'has' to start and finish something at a particular date. If he wants to start it in 2015, or 2016, or five years from now, ten years from now... Whatever.

Then again, maybe the idea is to create the 'plans' for this book next year and they'll both need to set aside some time for this planning (days/weeks). The process of writing a book has to be more complicated with two authors right?
