I found an article in our today's local newspaper. Where it says that King are publish Revival and Mr Mercedes this year, two new books same year.
Wow the guy is almost 70 and he's still going forward as a steam locomotive. Poor Ms Mod she will never retire, if he's not calm down soon.;) But we
constant reader are the lucky ones. :) Unfortunately it takes a half year or maybe a year after US/UK publication before I can read these two stories. I wait until they comes out translated.

Gee the poor guy is still only 66! ;)

I know you don't mean that badly, but as someone who is 10 years younger than Mr. King, believe me I am starting to feel my age, too

You are right, though, he is an incredibly prolific writer and for that we are all thankful!

I wonder if for a while he was like the writer in Bag of Bones (you know - books stashed away as a backup kind of thing?)

OK but he is 67 in Sept and that is almost 70 OK maybe not almost, but near. Or how we should say it. :) Sorry I was maybe to hasty
when I said that he is almost 70, but he still can write two books in a year when he is in that age. Fine with me. I hope he's
still writing stories when he's 80 and then I hope he not die before 100 ;) WE LOVE YOU STEVE!!

Dis thread. xD

However, I am very excited for both works, I don't remember which interview it was, but I recall in one of them Mr. King talks of the idea for Mr. Mercedes, apparently deriving from a BREAKING NEWS! thing he saw on the, guess what, News. It was like this - festival? - and a car just drove through the crowd apparently. It was really interesting, if I had the interview on my mind I would watch it over again.

I believe King saw the news broadcast on a hotel TV in one of the Carolinas and it was a car driving through a line of people waiting to apply for open positions at a McDonald's. Does that sound right?

Hi everybody! I have been a member for a bit, but haven't commented til today. I just wanted to weigh in and say that I haven't read MR. MERCEDES yet, but I'm excited for the trilogy, since I'm always up for more books from Mr. King. I'm really stoked for REVIVAL, since it sounds pretty epic. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw Ms. Mod's response to TALISMAN 3 as confirmation that something is coming! Woot! So Ms. Mod, can you at least tell us if Mr. King plans to publish more than one book next year?
