Hi Linda! I am sorry to hear your news, let's just hope for the best and that you'll never lose all of your sight. Hey, if it comes down to it I can make a trip over your way every year and read the latest King book to you- of course you won't be losing your eyesight (fingers and everything else crossed). You're in my thoughts and prayers, my lady, you know that, right?!!!

Nope no weed. Not sure if the doctor would recommend it,but I am sure I would not do it. I did find out it is not Macular degeneration. I have been a diabetic for over 30 years and the doctor said it is diabetic issues and no matter how well you follow your diet, that these type things happen with diabetes and the longer you have had it ,the better chance of it happening. I got my paperwork and as soon as I can see the small writing will update you all. But the eyes are feeling back to normal day. Not red and no pain.
I am not a doctor or a nurse but I have heard of diabetic neuropathy. At least you have not had a problem with your circulation to your feet king family fan - you would not want to have a below knee amputation! :blue:

Well I think my appointment this time was the scariest. My doctor will be calling my personally to reschedule any appointments he must change. They forgot to give my numbing drops ,till the last minute. So the first injection hurt like h-ll. Then after I was done. we were leaving and my husband said look at me. Well I had blood running down my face. Apparentily they hit a blood vessel when injecting it. So it took a few days for the bleeding to completely stop. Set to go back at the end of May and make some decisions at that point.

I'm not hitting the "like" button for this one, 'cos that seems so wrong. I'm so sorry to hear of your trauma's with the last appointment. That sounds so scary. I so hope the situation improves significantly for you king family fan.

Linda, first and foremost prayers and healing vibes. May I make a suggestion... have you considered another specialist? I know it might mean travel, but your eyesight is so important. Insurance may be an issue also. It just appears so many things are not falling into place. Mistakes like forgetting to numb you/ hitting a blood vessel/all the appointment issues, etc. Just a suggestion-- You could request all your records and get that "second opinion". For now I send love and green lights with tons of prayers and positive vibes.

I have made an appointment with my regular eye doctor asking him for a new referral.I have just lost alot of faith in this other office.Thank-you its a great idea. I did get my records and have had them sent to my family doctor and my regular doctor. My eye doctor(Regular) is on vacation until next Monday.
