Back. Great news at the eye doctor today. After an event couple weeks here.I never experienced any pain or nausea as expected. But got a shock one morning. I woke up and everything in that eye was black. Just as if it were covered with an eye patch. So I called immediately and the tech set me up with an appt. in 2 hours. So called hubby home from work. Mind you his first day back after taking vacation to stay home with me first week after surgery. The home rings and its the eye tech. she says I talked with the doctor and this is suppose to happen. Thank Goodness The hubby hadn't left work yet. The black patch deal is actually the gas bubble they place in the eye.It gets smaller and smaller until gone.
The day of the surgery they give me an alert bracelet and tell you not to take it off. Well my gets beat to crap and I have to tape it together. I call for a new one and it never comes.I call today and they said you should have gotten it. So I get to my eye appt. the receptionist gives me a new one before i even see the doctor. So he checks the eye and hot damn the patch is totally gone. No more need for the alert bracelet. Get home and what is in my mailbox. Yup,I got twinner alert bracelets.LOL
So everything is looking great. Will see him in 6 weeks and can discuss getting new glasses at that point. Will take several months for total healing and to know exactly where my eye sight is. But things are looking up. No more black patch and no silly bracelets. However,I wonder how much these extra jewels are costing me. Neon green too. How pretty. I have missed you all.
