She gets her Advil every 6 hours, and Tylenol every 4 hours. Karen has her on a separate schedule for those,
She is drinking Pedialyte also.
She had a pretty good night. I heard her cry out a few times, but that is normal for her. I'll find out more when Karen gets up.. I'm just really hoping that her doctor can see her today, and maybe change her meds or something.
Scott, she doesn't like ice cream, so I doubt she would eat the popsicles, but thanks for the suggestion.

The woods are lovely dark and deep
Those miserable ear infections....so glad she is feeling better. I think your daughter did the right thing by putting the little one in a tepid bath, the thing is that the baby be out of drafts so no chance of a second chill. Praying that the amoxicillin does the trick and now y'all know what to look for with this little one and how to handle it.

She goes to the doctor at 11 this morning so we can see what meds Karen can stop hopefully. I am hoping one or the other of the Advil, or Tylenol. She keeps asking for her milk, and then she cries cause she can't have it.

Why can't she have milk? Something to do with the antibiotics? Maybe try buying almond milk or rice milk? It is not the same as cow's milk but maybe it would work. You can get it in vanilla flavour too.

Can she have chicken stock..bullion, or bits of the 'brat' (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) diet? My son had horrible ear infections, also would get sick when he was cutting teeth. They had us hold milk products because of some lactose issues and milk makes phlem and congestion.
They suggested gatoraid and popsicles and most types of clear broth. It was recommended (but he hated) pedialyte. Seagrams ginger ale (and it's 'scubby bubbles') he was always willing to have a bit along with saltines.

Good Luck. I do not envy you, give her extra hugs and of course read whatever story she wants.

My grand daughter, Kat, developed a fever of 103 around 8 PM. My daughter, Karen, gave her some Advil. Around 11:30PM, Kat went into convulsions. I called 911, and when they got here, they said she may have had a seizure. They took her to the hospital, and I am awaiting word on how she's doing.
She was foaming at the mouth, and shaking, and her eyes rolled up in her head, and she wasn't responsive until Karen put her in a very cool bath, and then she started to cry.
Karen rode with her in the ambulance, and my son-in-law, Sam, followed. I stayed here with my grand son, Kaden, who was crying, and upset.
The paramedic said it could have been because her fever went so high so fast that the seizure happened.
I am still shaking wondering what the hell happened to my beautiful little girl.
I wish I would hear from the kids as to what is going on.
We are in need of prayers, and healing vibes for Kat.
Poor baby I hope she is okay now! I'm sorry you all had to go through that.
