I get confused at times myself Prescott Fry, seeing as how I don't know all the forum back stories. I find myself wanting to interject and be like so guys is this sarcasm, passive aggression, or an inside joke, huh? Lol. There should be a special emoticon for forum inside jokes lol.

I decided to try to share some of my work with other people although I don't really want to, I decided I'll try.

Here is my blog, where I have self " published " the first installment in a series I am working on. If having done this doesn't annoy me with myself too much I'll probably do it again.

Telegraph Operator in a Town with No Telegraph

THANKS

Is "I Feel Guilty to be Alive" fiction? or did you have a friend who chose to leave this world? I clicked on your link to read your story but couldn't get past "I Feel Guilty to be Alive". I had a friend who chose to leave this world. He called me before he left and asked if I could come over. I was stupid... I did not know he needed someone to talk to and I didn't go over. It's been over 30 years and I will never lose the guilt, it's something I'll always live with. I'm glad your friend didn't call you, you may be able to eventually think of your friend without feeling guilty.

I write a lot of little short stories but I also write many small " diary " type pieces regarding real life issues. I view my writing and art as bibliotherapy. So I wrote that the other night on a bender just before getting drunk and going to hide in the woods like a rabbit.

Since my friend died, I developed some nasty habits. Writing helps to break them.

I usually prefer not to share that type of personal writing but several friends told me that it helps them or moved them, so...I acquiesce.

Sorry it disturbed you and you couldn't read my story.

I disturb me too.

As for your friend, I am sorry what he did but it is not your fault. However I know that nothing I can tell you will change the way you feel so I will just tell you that I know how you hurt we have the same pain.

And with that, an E hug! XxXx

The only real problem in cases such as this is my obtusity, in that I tend to refuse to use emoticons which help prevent misunderstanding, preferring that others read my mind. I mean, if it works everywhere it should work here.

..not at all, he's making a(in your case)misunderstood witticism as it relates to another Thread title on this Board....Frank is not cruel by nature...
Thank you, Scott.

I thought maybe there was some word play teasing going on there,

Frank is a character in my story!
I apologize for being obtuse, Van. Due to the positive effect it's had on members posting here, I also intend to read your shamelessness when I have a little time.

Yeah, Blunhead is cool guy
:cheerful:
I'll second that emotion! ((((Blunthead)))) :loyal::m_clap:

Everybody Loves BluntHead.
When I'm really lucky.

Is this a new series on TV?
:m_innocent::m_bigwink:
Sounds doable with a certain minor adjustment: replace "BluntHead" with another name.

No, he's not. ;-D
Perhaps being dead provides enlightenment.
