I read your story. I'm not a writer so I can't give you any helpful tips but I liked the story and I'm curious as to what will happen next so I think its good Your story seems to have disappeared. Will we ever find out who is in the car on the street outside Dagny's window?

I can't tell yet if Dagny is supposed to be a likable character or not but I like him He's a bit off the wall. Some of his thoughts and comments made me smile... "Deliver me to the queen!" Dagny reminds me a bit of Lather (old Jefferson Airplane song). He doesn't seem to want to be bothered with the real world or growing up. Did you pattern Dagny after someone you know?

LOl, thank goodness, for the first time, someone merely says they like it without confusing me with lots of terms regarding literary devices. I am glad you're not a writer, it's ok with me. And thanks by the way for the read and compliment.

Dangy is supposed to be my likeable anti-hero, a guy you maybe laugh at and dislike a little, a scoundrel you later feel for. Dagny is a symbol, a device in his own right, but also based mostly off one person I know, with some attributes from others mixed in. A lot of characters or situations are really symbols. In some ways, I hope he is my Ricky from Trailer Park Boys. I heart Ricky.

The story is gone but not forgotten. If I ever had anything published, I'd probably go stand at the Barnes and Noble and put my books in the rubbish bin when no one was looking then leave. But there will be more revealed. I wrote the second chapter for it twice but scrapped it. There's a process I'm going through in this and that is that I actually become Dagny, like method acting so I can't really write it until I am it. I just have to be there. Also writing it first involves writing it in my head. I have to walk around the city streets talking to myself about it. Once it's all in my head and none of it falls out, and I am it, then it comes out... so until it's born it's baking!

Everything and else is cheating and a lie.
