Okay all - my cancer has returned, leukemia and bone) and is terminal. I am currently in palliative care at the hospital, and there are no other treatment options. Now I'm just waiting my daughter and sister to come on the 14th. But I'm ready - I'm so tired.
I can't like this Sharon- just know you are held in the strongest prayers I can manage.

Sharon please know that you are loved so very much. My fellow newfie woman, you are so wonderful. This is not fair. I am holding you in my heart right now and picturing you climbing up and down signal hill in your youth. I hope they are looking after you well in the palladative care unit and keeping down your pain. Love you Missus.

...Darlin', this has rocked me hard....you have always been one of my dearest friends here, quick with a kind comment or encouragement and besides-we share a love of Koontz as well...nothing I could say will ease this diagnosis-no "happy words" to sweeten the grim reality...I have always been open and honest with you, so please know I am heartened by your acceptance of the inevitable and an end to your trials...palliative care personnel are The White's messengers and hands here on our plane of existence-and should you need ANYTHING, ask them. There should be little if any pain as you take the walk to your clearing. Please know that I am there step by step with you in my heart, and if there is a need-I will do my best to accomplish it for you or your family. Questions? I will do my best to answer. You have lived a good life, and nothing but joy awaits you...say hi to John D and the rest of our Board friends....you will never be forgotten, and as long as you are able-continue to join us here...I love you very much girl....and from our mutual friend, Mr. Koontz:

Some lives, conducted with grace, are beautiful arcs bridging this world to eternity.
