Love the shelfies! I just tried to access mine on photobucket and ran into trouble. Something's going on over there. I'll be back with photos later.
Ah, you haven't heard? In order to hotline photos from Photobucket, you know have to have a $399.00 yearly subscription. Otherwise your photos are hostage.
Check out this thread for help...

Weird. They are showing up on the thread for me. They are hosted at Postimage.
The photos are showing up in the thread for me too, but if I click on your first 3 images--as we sometimes can to enlarge them, it takes me to the site and offers a download without displaying the photo... that's what made me wonder if it was malware or not?

So it looks like Postimage does this for advertising revenue. I didn't know this when I got a replacement account for Photobucket. I saw others' reviews that it was a great hosting site.

so mine looks a bit sloppy, partly due to needing to reorganize a bit, some collections are getting a bit big for their spot, and just got 2 new shelves which i haven't totally incorporated yet. i have so many that putting them sideways like is done traditionally gets a bit awkward. chances are if you see one stack of books there's at least one or two behind it, mostly of the same author. shelf 3 has some miscellaneous spots on it though.

shelf 1:

shelf 2 - star trek/star wars, but i'm going to be moving the star trek to shelf 4, one of the new ones soon:

shelf 3: here's where i have a couple of misc spots, one for sci fi and a couple for everything else on the 3rd or 4th shelf:

shelf 4, which is largely empty for now until i move the rest of my start trek onto it:

shelf 5, currently the lightest of all:

it looks like i have a lot of unused space, largely because i'm anticipating getting more books by certain authors or leaving a couple spaced for future author/genre collections. that's the harry potter series in the last pic that isn't facing towards the camera btw.

I always love the hardcovers. It's too bad for a long time they only did them as paperbacks here. Only in recent years you can also get a hardcover. It seems they wanted to try hardcovers here earlier somewhere around the late eighties - I remember filling in a questionnaire about it, but it never fully materialised. I only have Carrie as a hardcover, and then some smaller books, like Blockade Billy (although it was called Eenmalige Zonde here, which means One Time Sin, the Dutch title of the bonus story Morality. Probably because baseball isn't as big here) and Riding The Bullet, which appeared as a separate book before it was collected in Everything's Eventual. I always like those smaller books, I have Dolan's Cadillac, In the Tall Grass and Throttle also as small books with just the one story, and from Koontz Trapped (the idea of which was the precursor to Watchers).
Because the novels and collections often are so large, it makes those small books seem really 'cute' somehow.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera to photograph the collection. I have so little use for a camera that I never replaced the one I had when it got broken.
