I would love to come out and play sir. At 50 yards, you can put holes thru holes on a 8.5 x 11 target using the iron sights or the scope. Well....I'm sure someone could with the iron sights, my 42 year old eyes aren't that great so I have to use the scope to shoot accurately at fifty yards...fun to go out and plink with in any case.

...I can dig that...my oldest-the warrior, challenged me one day...we were at my dad's doing some plinking with a S&W .22, using a large old pizza box as a target of opportunity...at one point as I was shooting-a medium size spider started crawling on the box....my boy says "Hey Pops! Betcha can't hit that spider with one shot...hyuk, hyuk, hyuk"...so, at about 15 yards-downhill, with iron sights-I plastered the arachnid....not bad for-at the time-my 50 year old eyes, and his expression was priceless....

That's a good shot at ANY age, much less with older eyes like ours. I have to squint pretty badly now even at 25 yards when I'm shooting iron sights. Thank goodness for EOtech Still can't miss with that baby on my AR.
