*sigh*..I dont really know how get into what I want to say.
See, here's the problem:
I live in Greece.
It is safe to assume that the probability of SK coming here and doing a book signing, is slightly less than me becoming president of the Galaxy.(Zaphod would strongly object, I know).
There is no option of sending a book to be signed (and that's good. He would be swimming in tons of books in no time in case that was on the table.)
I'd really love a signed book.

So, dear constant readers, we've reached a..(wait, what's the correct word..mind stuck)..an impasse?

Now, let's ask you fellow Constant Readers and admins who can possibly find a solution or not. Any ideas on how that would be possible? Or "never" is a totally acceptable and the only answer and that's it?
The only thing I came up with the past 10 minutes I ve been thinking about this (it came as a flash as I was editing stuff on my phd) is this:
Someone from the forum goes to a signing.
Someone from the forum is what you call "good people"* and kind and generous etc
Someone from the forum gets a book from me, goes to a signing, gets it signed and sends it back.

*when I say this I dont mean everybody else is a miserable Es-O-Bee . I just mean it in the "really going the extra mile" way. I know I'd be hard pressed to do that for a total stranger.
So, I'd really like to know (talking to the admins right now) if there are other options of doing something like that.
Thanks for reading my rant. Back to my cave now :D

p.s: loving Revival so far :D

Thanks a lot for the info Spidey (already checking the amazing offers there) and thanks a lot for the offer Neesy :D
(and dont worry for the rubles, I would of course compensate you for such a huge favor) (not much anyway, for a book. In the vicinity of $10-15 I guess)

This place is awesome for signed SK books:
Signed and rare books for the discerning collector - veryfinebooks.com
I have got a few from them and they are really great people and so happy to help :)

Be careful. There are ton of faked King signatures on places like ebay. I would stick to a reputable dealer like Betts or someone who actually saw him sign it themselves. Even then I never feel 100% confident unless I see SK sign it myself. The darktower.org has a lot of big time collectors. That's a great place to get information about the collecting side of the King's books.
