My name is Dmitry and I came here to... Self-promote, I guess. So, if you do not mind I will go straight to the self-promotion sub-forum

No problem, I can wait (= Meanwhile about myself: I am someone, whom some people could call a writer. It's too high of a rank to for me though. When I was back in school, I had an idea, which I started writing down. It sucked. Really sucked. Tried a few other pieces, but they also sucked. Tried poetry even. Then, when I was in Uni I tried implementing the original idea again. I was actually able to finish a book and started the 2nd one in the series. Then due to various circumstances I postponed it and when I returned to it... It sucked. Well, it lacked a lot of things, especially "motivation" of the characters. I started re-writing it, making it darker, but then I hit the wall for a very long time. Like 3 years.
In the end of last year, that wall started cracking and I again am re-writing it completely. I realized a lot of flaws and I am trying to fix them, while also translating it to English (instead of using my native Russian). It's far from perfect, but more on that in the self-promotion
