Reading Mr. King for 35 years. Favorite titles? Usually the last thing I just read. :) Loved loved loved 11/22/63 (and think Bryan Cranston would make a killer George). The Shining, the short stories, The Langoliers…Duma Key…new/old/short/long. On Writing. The Green Mile (which I got from the library as single chapters as SK intended for the experience). I just love this man! :)

My personal favorite is Desperation, I assume due to two prime factors:
1) How it starts so intensely with Collie Entragian's corrupt, evil cop character which, as an old hippie, scares me on a fundamental level, and who is then abruptly revealed via "Tak!". Two scary, mysterious abruptions right off the bat!; and, 2) It's general intensity and promise of terror and horror which is delivered, especially when two characters, a male and female, find an idol which begins to transform them from human to something subhuman, primal, animal.
