23 Food Facts That Are Totally And Undeniably True

(Why do some foods taste better with a plastic spoon? Soda water in a glass bottle is totally awesome. Mexican Coke is the best (wasn't it swiftdog2.0 who started a thread about Mexican Coke?) I don't get #10 :umm: . I'm pretty sure #13 is a nectarine not an apple. I love bread heels (slathered with real butter). I have eaten candy/chewed gum that had some of the paper wrapper stuck on it. Sandwiches taste better when sliced DIAGONALLY.)

And one of my own food truth: most anything tastes good in a home made flour tortilla. :)

Have a great Sunday evening.

Peace.

Cant eat a lil Jack and Jill Ice cream after pulling the lil tab and chewing the wooden to spoon to splinters after. Then go find something to dig with the other side of it.

Dana Jean I read this and thought you might think it interesting.

A different way to die: the story of a natural burial - Vox

My paternal grandmother told us how she helped wash and dress dead family members and help neighbors with their dead family members. She felt a great deal of pride/honor in taking care of people in that manner.

My BFF has said she's going to do my hair and make-up when I die.

Yes, I have read many books on this topic. It's fascinating. There was a documentary about it years ago too, can't remember the name, but people would get a cardboard box and the family would decorate it. Sort of like burying your pet bird. (Not dissing this, just reminds me of when I planted my hamster. He went out in a very groovy coffin.)

THey would do the hair and makeup. And then they would lay them to rest. Either in a cardboard box of some sort, or just shrouded in cloth. Mark the grave with a tree or a big rock or something very natural and part of the environment.

You can still do this type of burial today. There are natural cemeteries.
