Number 16 is so true. Anything I drop on the floor is going in the garbage, no matter how clean the floor appears. I'm sure there are cooks in restaurants that drop food and dust it off or wash it but I try not to think about that while out to dinner. This makes me think of the time that I ordered a house salad and found a bloody band-aid in it (presumably it had slipped off the preparer's finger) and I was so glad I hadn't taken a bite. I always inspect my food before eating it. I found a roach in a Burger King hamburger bun, once. Sorry, if you're squeamish...hmmm, this would make a very appetizing thread. ;)
