SK Movies!

Loved them all, but Shawshank has a resume' the other two can't match in terms of awards and critical raves.
Not horror at all, but a movie that might have surpassed the book, and you can't say that about many films.

Although I enjoyed the book Misery very much, the movie Shawshank Redemption is my choice for best movie.

Wow - this is hard - Green Mile was also well done...

Still - I am sticking with Shawshank

IMDb.com says that Shawshank is the movie most highly rated among IMDb viewers.

All three are great, but I went with Shawshank. I may need to watch Green Mile again to be sure though.

All good, but had to go with Misery, simply for nostalgic reasons. Caught it on a drive-inn double bill with Oliver Stone's The Doors, way back when things were cool. Good times and great oldies.

But my real favorite is Creepshow.

Mine's Misery and partly for nostalgic reasons, too. I loved the movie long before I became a CR. Also, Needful Things.

Yep! Shawshank for me too, which is just as well because it seems to be shown at least once a month on one or other of our TV channels. I'm a big Morgan Freeman fan too.

Shawshank here, though I feel like I need to watch Misery again (been a long while) to reach a fair decision between the two. I thought Green Mile was an excellent book and the movie did it justice, but it's not one of my favorite SK books so it's not going to qualify as my favorite SK movie of the three.

Love them all but I will go with Misery because its more in the horror realm and really dark. Anne just makes me laugh throughout the book and movie

I'd definitely have to say The Green Mile. It had very lovable characters, and characters you would just have to hate. The musical score was great, and the movie was equally as great.

That was tough but i went with Shawshank but Misery is more terrifying but all are very good,. but i miss Stand by me as an option. Thats an excellent movie.
