Started watching my boxset, with the original... Puppetmaster. You just can’t go wrong with a story born from Nazis, puppets and an old Egyptian formula. :)

Awesome! I just finished watching the original this morning. Nothing hurts worse than the top of a puppets head being drilled into the back of your leg!
LOL. I've got them all.

Now I just have to find that old Egyptian formula. I'm putting Kurben on the case! :)

It took me months to amass, piecemeal, the entire collection of puppets to give my wife for Christmas about 5 years ago, all Mint-In-Box. The first thing she did was open the boxes and take them out. I nearly had a heart attack. :(

The only movie that has ever scared me was Signs. To this day I still hate reflections in tv screens. Most horror movies just amuse me and the bit in The Exorcist where her head spins round is just AWESOME :)
Signs is the only movie (as an adult) that scared me too.
I was genuinely scared to turn off the light that night.

Me too. That movie made me start imagining things outside the windows. You know how sometimes you can't see anything outside or the curtains are closed but there's a gap between them so you can see out but you still can't see anything? I watched Signs and started picturing things sitting outside the windows, I know there's nothing there but........

The atmosphere of the movie just seemed so real to me. When Graham said, 'There is no one looking out for us. We are all alone,' it seemed the truth to me.

I agree with you on the atmosphere but I didn't like that scene very much, he seemed a bit ignorant to me because whether he believes or not, he wasn't alone, he had Merrill, Bo and Morgan.

But he meant a higher power. We are all alone as humans in the world. There's no magic dude in the sky protecting us. That's the way I took it anyway. :)

I knew that he was referring to a higher power, the character just seemed smart enough to know that just because there's nobody watching over them didn't mean he was alone. If he'd lost his whole family then his attitude would make more sense to me. That's the only thing I didn't like about the movie :)

The only movie which has truly scared me was 13 Ghosts (1960), which caused me to turn on all of the lights in the house and then just sit.

I didn't take him to mean literally alone (without family, etc). I just think he meant we are without that God that everyone seems to think is always with us so that we're never 'alone.'
