I'm glad that you mentioned the show from your historian's view point as that's one of my favorite things to do with the show- I watch the episode in it's entirety on the night the episode premiers then i watch it a second time On Demand and i'll research some of his comments. i LOVE his comment about Samuel Prescott during the 'Midnight Ride' episode..... and sure enough, it was true...Concord WAS Samuel Prescott's route! LOL! I also adore how he refers to Abby as 'leftenantl instead of 'lieutenant'. Tom Mison actually changed that dialogue himself.....
He pronounces it like a Brit, which is proper :) Yeah, they go out there on some of the storylines (WAY out there--lol), but a lot of the actual history is spot on.

it's SO much fun! :m_applause:

It is! I completely thought it would suck, but I'm so glad a friend talked me into giving it a try. Seeing Clancy Brown's name in the credits helped, too--I like him quite a bit. Little did I know what would happen to him early in the first show (lol), but by then I was caught up in the story.

Howdy steve!

So, Skimom, are you an 'amateur' or degreed historian?

The community college I'm going to makes you take up to intermediate algebra with just about everything, how about where you went?
