...nothin' like it...I see a ton of that kind of story here in rural Ohio.....the Police Blotter can be a hoot...like a number of years ago, neighbors were complaining about the lady who stood in the street talking to the "little green men" on the telephone wires.....

Isn't it precious? I love these stories. You have your ole codgers and your eccentrics. They are the type of people who develop into fiction characters for writers like Uncle Steve.

5 lb of bacon?! That's almost a new-born baby! I would be too embarrassed to own up to that too if I'd eaten it in one sitting! :laugh:

Probably cheap bacon that shrank to a mere pound by the time she was done cooking it. Still, that's quite a snack, although I can imagine someone getting their binge on and going through a gallon of ice cream or a pound of cooked bacon.

But how did he NOT SMELL IT?

That's it - he was out late, and she wasn't happy with it, and ate the cooked pound of bacon.
