Just finished Finders Keepers and the thing I hate most after flying through his books is coming to the end!! :flat:

Same here... I hate it when they end. Sometimes after reading one of King's books, it takes me a long time before I can read anything by another author... I want to keep King's story in my head y'know?

I purchased Finders Keepers the first day it went on sale but I havn't read it yet. I'm saving it until End of Watch hits the store so I can make the story last longer :)

Me too!

Then I can read one right after the other. :encouragement:

Michele is my middle name, too - my Mom just decided to spell it with only one L.

Welcome! I am coming to that point with "The Stand". A week ago I was like 200 pages before the end. Today I am like 70 pages from the end. I have been finding things to do so the story does not end.

There is an impulse to just keep reading to know what happens, but I am able to overcome it thanks to the book being very generous with many cool events happening very fast in these final chapters. =D

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. The Stand was truly epic.

Loving it so far. I've kind of commented about it here and there (I bet you've seen the comments in the thread where I post my pics; actually, the pics themselves could be seen as comments, I suppose).
Yes, I have. Nick Andros is my favorite character and I think you've voiced the same opinion. I was interested in an overall review when you had time. From your posts I can tell your critiques are nuanced and honor the source material carefully. Keep up the great art work, btw.

Isn't he everyone's?

He should be.

And thanks for your kind words.

Maybe like a year after I'd read The Stand, I started having dreams about Nick. It drove me crazy because I thought he was a real person but couldn't figure out who he was. Then I read The Stand again and realized who I was dreaming about. Sometimes SK makes his characters TOO real lol.
