The woods are lovely dark and deep
My beautiful granddaughter gave me a PopSocket. For those who do not know what that is, like me on Christmas morning; "You can put a PopSocket to the back of almost any mobile device to transform its capabilities. PopSockets "pop" whenever you need a grip, a stand, an earbud-management system, or just something to play with."

I got an olive tree! Well, sort of. My brother and SIL "adopted" and olive tree in Italy for my husband and me in our names. We received 3 cans of olive oil and a picture of the tree with a description of where it is in southern Italy (sort of a certificate of adoption). We also get a shipment of 3 more cans at some point (I would gather after the next harvest). My husband and I have named the tree "Paolo." We hope to visit it one day. :smile2:

I got cash, gift cards, clothes, a new book, scented candles and a furry throw blanket (I'm always cold) from my family.
My favorite gift was the kiddo gave me a few really good hugs. He hasn't hugged me in a while, so I appreciated those hugs more than anything. He had an extremely rough start Christmas morning, but then was happy for about 24 hours.
Of course, he broke almost all of his gifts by yesterday and then his behavior was worse than it's been lately.
I had been praying for a nice Christmas so the really happy time we did have was like a little miracle to me.

Sigh....clothes, socks, gloves, slippers......ya know, because I'm old and all...
BUT...then came the good stuff such as a 3 month Beer of the Month Club subscription, some old school board games, and a Dark Man S/L which leaves me lacking only a few now!
I must have been angelic all year  or Santa's standards have gotten lower...
