Which is better, Kubrick's version....or this:
The Shining in 30 seconds with bunnies.
The rabbit Wendy gave an outstanding performance.
The bunnies are much better! if you want the real Shining, grab the book and read it. It contains In depth development of the characters and the original ending. Then, pick up Doctor Sleep and find out about Danny's life today.
As good or better than Shelley Duvall....
I didn't say anything.
....um I forgot to leave a crumb...sorry, I'm a little tired because I couldn't sleep last night...
Dick Hallorann had an easy time stocking the pantry before he left......
I like the Kubrick version. BUT I take it as a film on it's own, no comparing it to the book. Apples and oranges. The bunnies are funny, though.
This one's scarier.
Bunnies are absolutely terrifying in their own right. Especially with their sharp and pointy teeth.
the ending with the bunny humming was terrifying
...Shelley Duvall should REALLY be ashamed now...the bunny nailed the pathos and terror...
The bunnies, no doubt the bunnies. Plus, the Wendy bunny didn't look like Olive Oyl.
I have finally read the novel and understand the crimes of Stanley Kubrick, cinematic genius though he may have been.
On another note, I would never pick Shelley Duvall for my softball team. She chokes up on the bat way too much. Her stance is all messed up to. Not as weird as Kevin Youkalis, but Youkalis somehow makes it work.
