or naughty prisoner and commissioner? One reason Geralds Game was so powerful to me was due to the breaking of trust Jessie put in Gerald. In order to play that type of game, you must have absolute trust in your partner. Thats all, if this description was too much, please put it behind a spoiler.. Thanks

When the dialogue just doesn't ring true. Not quite as flowing as natural conversation would. A little bit forced or false.

That is funny kingricefan - I wanted to reply to you in another thread where you thought he was acting like I was not paying enough attention to him. I think it may have something to do with the extreme isolation up in Baker Lake. It's hard to make the transition back to 'civilization' and a big city again.

So Andy is here until August 4th and then back up there again until Christmas. I guess it is true that "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" after all!

I am happy to have him back home. Right now he is painting the deck out back, plus he cut the grass and did all the weed whacking :okay:(I wonder where he gets all that energy?)

Yes, but he cooks for a living. That's like asking him to give you a massage if he was a physical therapist or a massage technician. I certainly aren't going to play 'store' with my mate (if I had one) after I get home from work, I'll tell ya that much! ;-D

What a great thread! And you know what... I can't think of one single thing I dislike. Regarding sex scenes? James Herbert was the master, God Rest his Soul.

From the few books I have read, there is an awkwardness that makes it feel real.
