I seriously cannot wait. Even though I feel awful I truly don't care. I cannot wait to feel the little guy. It's amazing how much you can love something that just barely exists.

My husband is very excited too. He's not talking to my my belly, like I thought he would, but I think that's because he can't see anything yet!

GINGER TEA SOUNDS AMAZING!! I will get some today. Thank you!

And you keep giving me hope that it's a boy.

xD

And on a final note - here's me with my 8 week sticker! (That sounds like AA!)
So cute!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This baby has to wait until it's AT LEAST 25!!!

I love tattoos, obviously, but I think the legal age should be 25. We're all too dumb before that!!!

Good luck on that one. You'll have to explain the need to completely understand that piercings of any kind and tattoos are a form of self-mutilation. One involves punching holes in your body and the other involves injecting permanent ink into it. Both are for life. So Cutie Pie must be of a certain age to understand that it's a choice, that it's personal, that it involves pain, and that it is permanent (until the holes close up or the tattoo is removed). You're right on that one, Missy. My mother wouldn't allow me to get my ears pierced until I was 16.

Fortunately, I think kids tend to do the opposite of their parents. So we'll probably have an un-inked kid. (And a republican, grumble grumble.)

You know, every time i see the name Shasta i think of a boy, about eleven or so. It has to do with me reading, and liking, C.S. Lewis The Horse And His Boy for the first time. That has always been my favorite among the Narnia-books. The boys real narnian name is Cor (long story so i skip it but it makes perfect sense).

So...........how are you feeling?

I finally feel normal!! Of course, I'm at a ridiculous elevation right now so my brain is splitting but I don't think that has anything to do with being pregnant!! I'm starting to show a little so I'm feeling very fat!! The lack of nausea is amazing though!!

I don't know!!! It's actually been a problem for me. Very stressful. Their old friend actually named me and I actually asked my dad if he still talks to the guy!!! He doesn't.

So happy for you, GG has kept me up to date and I just now found the thread. (I'm still learning my way around the board). You will receive tons of advice and hear endless horror stories, try not to let it all overwhelm you. Each and every pregnancy is different, just do what's healthy and right for you, and know that when it's all over you get to be one of those who offer unsolicited advice!!
Wishing you all the best,( keeping a diary will help you remember some of those wonderful and not so wonderful days).
Once the little bundle of joy arrives the pregnancy becomes a blur! :) LOL- You other mothers know what I'm talking about.
Looking forward to following you throughout this blessed event.
Blessings and good health to you both ♥

Names will come to you as it gets closer. Just keep your eyes, ears and mind open. :)

I know a couple people who had a name picked out, then changed their minds when they saw the baby.

And I went to high school with a guy whose parents let him pick his own name when he was old enough. He chose "Groovy" but wasn't still going by that when I met him. Picabo Street, the skiier, didn't have an official name until she was 3 and her parents needed a passport. So, if you can't come up with anything, you still have a little time even when the baby gets here. ;)
