Soccer to play, and I played it for 30 years, rec league. It's a great game. And I could detail out why, and there are very good reasons, but you like a sport or you don't, and you don't get talked into liking it.

I also like to watch soccer. Football and hockey if my fave teams are involved, but usually not for the whole game.

I've gotten farther and farther away from baseball the older than I get and the shorter my time gets, just because of the long levels of inactivity. Actually, much the same for football.

I also like to watch Olympic-level gymnastics now and then, just because it's hard to believe that humans can actually do stuff like that.

Bowling and pool are fun, but they don't feel like a sport when I'm playing them.
I played soccer right throughout my schooling life, became captain of our first XI high school team and was selected to represent my region in the under 21's.
I always preferred playing to watching though, the "Hollywood's" (people rolling on the ground when they're not really hurt) always annoyed me, so I usually watched rugby instead. :biggrin2:

And actually when watching soccer on TV, I enjoy watching women's matches more because they've been much less the drama queens than the men.

Hockey closely followed by soccer. Football, the american kind, and baseball i find boring. Please don't attack me for it #runs for shelter#

Exactly!!! In a mens game when tackled they lie there as if they are dead. And then, some water later, They run like crazy again. The women just bounces back up when they been tackled and fallen. A lot less of thinking "I must fool the referee" going on in ladies soccer than in mens.
