Today I was at my local goodwill. Side note scored a cemetery dance shivers VI and a BCE of thinner hc. Not bad. Anyway there was this kid there about 12 I would say and he never looked at the hc's. Straight to the paperbacks. See the hc are 1.50 and the pb are .50. Simple decision when ur 12. I notice he didn't have any king in his hands so I got ahead of his path a pulled out the gunslinger and put it cover forwards eye level so he couldn't miss it. Well I watched and he hesitated for a second and passed it by. So I had too say something. I mean it's the gunslinger. I asked him " do u read any king." He said no. I said well the gunslinger is a great book and went on about the series and yes I actually quoted the 1st line. So he picked it up. So who knows. I might have just started a king fanatic or he bought it just so this crazy old man at 41 would leave him alone. Lol

He'll probably become a member and tell the story about the crazy man who forced him to buy The Gunslinger and "now you know the rest of the story." Then he'll complain about some technical problem he thinks he found.

My best friends girlfriend likes zombiebooks. I have given her (or them) three previously but gave her Cell this time, clesest King book to zombies wouldsn't you say? Hope it will get her hooked.
I am pretty sure that would be the only "zombie" book I have ever read. I had heard of some bad reviews of "Cell" so decided to check it out for myself and I am glad I did.

Well, two excellent Zombie books are World War Z by Max Brooks and The Girl with all the Gifts by M.J. Carey. Very different but very good. By far the best zombie books i read. Can be recommended.

Good work, my friend. It's very important to have children properly vaccinated :ghost:
