also always bugged me that the Jedi are training kids--or "padawans"--that appear to be as young as five or six. Has this child already made the decision to refrain from sex for the rest of their life? Can they make that decision? I don't think so.

I always assumed as children they only received partial training. Children that show signs of "the Force" are taken and trained, but over time, I assumed some are sent home because they don't actually have the natural abilities required. They would also eventually chose to be a Jedi....or not. Though having been raised there, chances are they would chose yes.

Well......I did it.I watched this movie.
I have been a fan ever since I saw The Empire Strikes Back when I was a kid.But I was so put off by the last three Star Wars movies that I didn't even go with my family to see this in the theater.STUPID ME! I LOVED IT! I thought it was so so so much better then the last three.It felt much more "old school" to me.
