Took some me time and watched the video. Was very impressed. Lee Child and Steve make a good pair for this type of venue. Alway enjoy the little bits of info you pick up from Steve. Author to author brings about some interesting questions/ answers and insight.

not_nadine -- don;t skip the Lee Child parts- there is some good answers to Steve's questions.

I'd missed the last couple of Q&As because I had to get out to the car ahead of when Steve was going to leave. That last one is still giving me goosebumps when I think of it. :icon_eek: I knew there was a good reason not to like snakes or to have them as pets but that convinced me!

For those of you who haven't read the News section...ahem...here's the link to the YouTube video.

THANK YOU!!! Thank you to Ms. Mod for posting the video of this delightful exchange. After seeing how much Mr. King admires Lee Child as an author and Jack Reacher as a character, I feel a push to check out the Reacher series. I had no idea that this event took place and wouldn't have been able to view this any other way. So thanks again to Ms. Mod for taking care of King's life long fans. I really enjoyed watching that, as I'm sure many others did as well.

On a side note, interviewing his favorite authors may need to be Mr. King's next side project. He is great at it. He can meet with them at a school, library, bookstore, etc., hang out with his favorite authors for an hour or two, ask his questions, do an audience Q&A, tape it, and put it on the website, or make a yearly television special out of it. That would be a lot of fun.

Just finished watching the video. Child and SK were both incredibly humble and charming. I haven't read any of Child's books, but picked one up at the used bookstore recently and hope to start it soon. If I'm not reading a King book, I'm usually reading one he recommends. :)
