I have read a couple of Stephen King books on my nook and am getting random ??in the middle or some words, and also in The Dark Half "how" always seems misspelled as "bow". I downloaded my ebook from Barns and Noble onto my nook, so I assume they are not bootlegs.

Has anyone else had this problem on their ebook device and was there ebook device a nook?

I have not had this problem with SK books. The fault lies with the publisher; it has nothing to do with SK himself. Your question would be much better answered by first going through Nook's customer service (that's B&N, correct?) to find out if this is a problem they are aware of and if so, what is being done to correct it. I have a Kindle, and I have gotten refunds from Amazon on books that had egregious typos and formatting issues.

Same here. I've had this happen a few times from Barnes and Noble downloads on my Nook tablet. They've been pretty good about sending me new files.

Good to know, thanks for helping. I was trying to figure out if other people had these format problems with their nook or even other e readers. I wasn't trying to blame Stephen King or any publishing company; I suppose I didn't have to make this a Stephen King Specific discussion, but all the books on my e reader are Stephen King books, so I would have no way of knowing by my personal experience if the glitches were specifically related to Stephen King books and publishing, or not.

P.S carrie's younger brother are you and editor or publisher. (I think it has been mentioned on the SKMB that you are, but I'm not sure it might have been another SKMB member). I am not, I have no knowledge of how text is edited and changed once passed from author to editor to publisher.

I used to work in publishing, but no longer do.
Sorry if I came across a bit terse. Of course I do not expect you to know about such things. I could have worded my response a bit better. Apologies.
