Stephen King, Carrie Sequel

I was just wondering if Stephen has ever even considered writing a sequel to Carrie. Because my personal opinion is that it is a book that is very long overdue for a sequel!!! Any information to me question would help me from wondering about it!!!

Stephen has been asked about a sequel and his response was that Carrie's dead--it's over, which is another way of saying he doesn't have any plans to do one.

Yeah not to be rude or anything but I agree with Stephen King. I mean she died and the only significant person alive is Sue. I know he is obviously very creative and could do it if he wanted to I mean look at Dr. Sleep, but their isn't much to write a sequel about being that Carrie and everyone else is dead. Although a Pet Semetary sequel would be a fantastic idea!
