I would do it too. Do the seats move back away from the steering wheel in those things? Get in muh bel-ly takes on a whole new meaning when a big wheel grip is wedged in a person's folds. (mine)

There is a senior citizen lady (politically correct?) in Spring Hill who rides one from the connecting development to the grocery store. You should see the cars move out of her way-- ( all back roads ).
