After years of getting paperbacks, audiobooks and now ebooks, I decided I want to start a hardcover collection of king books for display purposes. I just recently signed up for the stephen king library And they are processing my first order. I'm curious to see if anyone could fill me in on the titles they offer. I remember looking through the website a year or so ago and they had titles like under the dome and Carrie for instance and now they don't. Do they constantly replace titles with other titles to keep the selection fresh? Or are these just gone. also I haven't received my first order yet but was curious how the quality of the club books are compared to standard hardcovers. Thanks

...I have been a member for years, and if memory serves-you should be able to build a sizeable collection from their titles, both old and new...and the Club books are of the same style you would find in a bookstore....quality is excellent...and new titles are identical to those you could buy anywhere upon general release...as I've stated many times-my only gripe with them, is that when a new novel is presented to the public, they have it quite a few days before members receive their copies...

The Stephen King Library is a type of book club. Quality is probably the same, but they are not collectibles in the truest sense of the word (they are able to print as many copies as they want with no indication of which printing is being done, and they do not have a price on the dust jacket.) If you want to simply have a hardcover set of King's books, though, these are very good.
