Hey people, I haven't been on here for a LONG time. Anyway, weird question, but any recommendations for an SK book that sort of works with sunny weather?

Have read Duma, IT, TommyKnockers, Shining, and most of the shorts, so any except those!

Thank you......

Do you mean books in which sunny weather is part of the plot or books that are good "beach books", i.e. lighter topics?

The first two installments of The Bill Hodges Trilogy, Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers, while not tied to any particular weather or season that I can remember, are both in the category of "beach reads" for me, but a cut above. I classify them as beach reads as they are easy to follow, somewhat simply written and a thrill ride from beginning to end. They are nothing to sit and contemplate (like The Stand or The DT Series) and they are relatively short.

Misery...there's some
grass cutting that goes on...dontcha love the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning?
. Looked in the Library. Most of his stuff was published late in the year. Skelton Crew, June '85, for what that's worth, but you say you read most of the shorts. Bag of Bones, Needful Things, Facebook. :) How about Christine? Fast cars...summer meant the local dudes being loud being somebody laying a patch over at the end of town.

I second Joyland - definitely a summer read. I read Wolves of the Calla on the beach, so I consider that a summer book, but if you haven't started your Dark Tower journey, read them in order. Revival was fantastic and felt like a summer book, as did Doctor Sleep.
There ya go : 3 for sure. Do report back, please. I think Joyland, Revival and Doctor Sleep are among my favorite SK books.
