From the other side of the pond:

Kate Bush wrote a song called Get Out of My House which was on her album The Dreaming (1982). She said it was inspired by the novel The Shining.

French and Saunders (Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders) did a pretty hilarious spoof of Misery on one of their shows. It's on YouTube.
OMG! How could I forget about the Saunders & French spoof? I LOVE them! I have all of the dvd's of their F & S shows! I love it when Saunders (as the Writer) smacks French (as the Annie Wilkes character named Dawnie French in the episode) in the face with the iron- it is so-o hilarious!!!!

Hysterical, right?

I love the movie Misery, but every time I see it my mind always goes back to the French and Saunders spoof and I laugh in spite of the seriousness of what Kathy Bates and James Caan are doing!

Most recent one was an episode where "Telekenesis" was used for murder. Carrie and King were mentioned a bit. I've tweeted Marlowe and Miller to have King make a cameo on the show. Would King be interested Ms Mod?

He's not interested in adding anything new to his schedule this year regardless of the project, so wouldn't be the time to do it.

There was a reference to THE MANGLER movie in a CRACKED article today. They totally didn't get that the crap movie did not do justice to the story (in fact, I'd be surprised if they read the story), but it was still a pretty funny article (with a uber funny photoshopped pic of SK on the potty. I'm never not going to have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy--I laughed a lot :D)

Between the Calla, and The Tower.
Futurama- Early episode had a wing in the New New York Library labled "Stephen King, A--Aardvark". Eureka had the common "Christine" theme for one episode, I still wish they would have made a comment like "I am not Arnie!" The Simpsons had Stephen King in person. The countless "Castle Rock" references in anything related to Stephen King. Another Futurama episode. Bender got run over by a "were-car" that looked like Christine.
