To celebrate horror icon Stephen King's 70th birthday, we have network premieres this October for his fearsome feline anthology CAT'S EYE, starring James Woods & Drew Barrymore; his darkly weighty cautionary tale STEPHEN KING'S THINNER, directed by Tom Holland in his directorial debut; the science-fiction action horror MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE, starring Emilio Estevez; and the 2009 adaptation of his short story CHILDREN OF THE CORN.

To be honest I've only seen "Thinner" so perhaps the other ones are good, too but I have to go with just the one.

If the Horror Channel had the ability to 'splash the cash' I would've liked to see Needful Things with the legend that is Max Von Sydow, The Dark Half (still one of my favourite books btw) as well as Dolores Claiborne and Misery - Kathy Bates at her best in both.
