Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm going to be working on a very large tattoo project based on his books. We just want to do small symbolic pieces from as many stories as we can. No portraits or book covers. I know there's so many things to draw from, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas from their favorite books. Thanks!

Welcome! Are you doing the tattoo in color? Maybe a red balloon floating somewhere. A can of Nozzola soda. Church from Pet Semetary. Roland's guns. So many options! Would love to see the finished work, as well.

these are good. also a rose would be good too. maybe the number 19 if you can work it in. some flames for firestarter? if it is in fact in color, maybe some green somewhere to represent the lights of the tommyknockers? scissors for insomnia, lightning for revival. not sure if you could manage to fit christine into it lol. the ka tet symbol: http://prntscr.com/g8glyu .
maybe this guy: http://prntscr.com/g8gmsf
a crow for the stand?

you might not be able to do full covers, but you can probably nab some inspiration from them

he also explores the thought of rats, wolves, snakes, spiders, scorpions and the like being tools of either randall flagg or tak from desperation/regulators, basically being tools that evil dudes can use, so maybe you could work some of those in. a spider for sure would potentially call to It as well as desperation.

....hard to say "Welcome man!"...or "Glad to have you here ma'am!"....when you are gender non-specific in your profile, but anyway-the symbol for Ka, a rose, something meaningful to you in the "High Speech"....and a clown-hell everybody loves a clown!!!!....

Great question! I've been pondering "small" SK tattoo ideas for a long time (don't have a lot of room left LOL!). I have the Sigul of Eld and 19, and am going to put KA somewhere, but would love other ideas as well. Welcome to the SKMB!

Welcome bornatzero! I always thought tattoos were not for me for 2 reasons...the 'look at me' factor and the fact that I could never find anything personal or important enough to permanently mark my body for. They sure have caught on publicly though and I do appreciate the drawing skill of some of those tattoo artists. I did like the Russian Tatu... All the best, mal

How bout a scroll with dripping blood. And all up and down the scroll r a clown from it, a door with the room number from the shining, Mercedes from Mr. Mercedes with blood all over the grill, ECT ECT. In the scroll in a list of all the books he has written.

Do you have photos of your tats anywhere on the boards? I'd love to see them.
I posted one somewhere a long time ago (it wasn't SK related though). I'm really shy and keep covered up and dress very modestly. Most people would be surprised I have so many. I don't really look like the "type." If I'm ever courageous enough and post a pic, I'll tag you. :)
